The Department of Internal Medicine, Cardiology Division is a top-tier department with world-renowned faculty and staff. The Division of Cardiovascular Health and Disease at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and UC Heart, Lung and Vascular Institute seeks cardiologists with training in Advanced CHF, Transplant and Mechanical Assist Devices. This individual will assist with the development of a heart-failure/transplant teaching rotation for cardiology fellows and working closely with our transplant surgeons in the future.


Essential Functions
  • Play a key role in both ambulatory and hospital-based care, collaborating closely with heart failure cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and critical care anesthesiologists to provide state-of-the-art patient care.
  • Actively contribute to education and training for fellows, residents, and other learners. Additionally, they will lead initiatives in quality improvement, patient safety, and research.

Minimum Requirements
  • Medical Degree (MD or DO).
  • Completion of 1 year fellowship in Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology or equivalent training experience.
  • Completion of 3-year residency in Internal Medicine.
  • Completion of 3-year fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease.
  • Ohio State Medical License and DEA License.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
  • Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
