The Department of Radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC)/NewYork-Presbyterian (NYP) is seeking a full-time faculty radiologist with fellowship training in Breast Imaging to join our growing and highly regarded division.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a nationally recognized academic radiology department known for excellence in clinical care, education, and research. Faculty will provide high-quality breast imaging interpretation and diagnostic intervention across a broad spectrum of cases and modalities while contributing to the department’s academic mission.

Compensation and academic rank will vary based on credentials, expertise, and experience. Salary range starts at $450,000 (for a faculty member in the first year out of fellowship). The successful candidate will serve several Westchester locations, including comprehensive breast imaging centers at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester and NewYork-Presbyterian The One , a new multispecialty outpatient location in White Plains that offers breast cancer care and other women’s health specialties.

Our ideal candidate has strong interpretative skills in all breast imaging modalities. We value skilled communicators, as our breast imaging faculty collaborate closely with a world-class team of surgeons and oncologists to provide comprehensive care to our patients. Many faculty members also participate in didactic and hands-on training of radiology residents and breast imaging fellows and participate in a range of research projects to advance the field.

The Department of Radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center has more than 130 full time faculty and performs over one million imaging exams each year in state-of-the-art facilities. A very active and growing research program provides support and guidance for those interested in participating. Our hospital, NewYork-Presbyterian, is ranked as one of the best in the country and New York City. Position requires M.D. or D.O. Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology and must be eligible to practice in the State of New York. Candidate must be MQSA certifiable. Training and experience in breast imaging required.
