Adjunct Instructor - DCCL: IDSL 865 Leveraging Human Resources, Doctorate in Community College Leadership

Ferris State University seeks qualified candidates to teach part-time in the Doctorate in Community College Leadership (DCCL) program. Instruction occurs on campus, at off-campus locations, and online.

Course Assignment: IDSL 865 Leveraging Human Resources. Examines methods for maximizing the college’s human resources, including the expertise needed to provide leadership in designing effective models of employee involvement and development within the context of labor laws, agreements, and governance structures.

This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Applications will be retained until vacancies arise, at which time qualified candidates may be contacted.

This posting is for a 7-1/2 week mixed delivery course – typically one face-to-face weekend (either in Michigan or Houston, Texas) followed by online instruction. The candidate(s) must reside in Michigan, Illinois (excluding Chicago), Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Ohio, Texas, or Wisconsin after acceptance of employment and the duration of time performing services for Ferris State University. Please note, if you relocate after being hired to a state not listed above, your employment with Ferris will not continue.

The anticipated start date of this position is August 2026 for the Fall semester.
