Job Description:

BHCC is seeking dynamic adjunct faculty to teach in the Visual & Media Arts Department.

Available course:

VMA-275 Interactive Design I (Thursdays, In-person, 6:00 p.m. - 8:45 p.m.)

In this studio intensive course, students will build on the foundations of visual design, typography and image with the principles of interactivity and user experience, in order to create responsive designs that work on both handheld and desktop devices.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in related field. 
• Commitment to advancing equity and access in the classroom. 
• Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population. 

Preferred Requirements:

• Master's Degree in related degree. 
• Commercial experience as a graphic designer. 
• College teaching experience, especially at community college level. 

Additional Information:

Salary: $1,397.00 Per Credit Hour

Effective Date: Spring semester, open until filled
