Position Summary:
Villanova University invites applications for adjunct teaching positions in Philosophy for undergraduate courses only. The applicant must be committed to excellence in the teaching of philosophy.
The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching and related duties will vary with the specific course(s) being taught.
Minimum Qualifications:
A master’s degree is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
* An earned doctorate in philosophy is strongly preferred.
* Previous teaching experience preferred.

Salary Posting Information:
This adjunct position falls within the salary range of $1,160.00 – $2,230.00 per credit/contact hour. The final compensation will be determined with consideration of several factors including the selected candidate’s educational qualifications, course type (drill, lab, lecture), course level (undergraduate or graduate), and market benchmarks.
