About the Position:

The adjunct applied Musical Theater Voice professor will teach individualized lessons, starting January 2026.  

Responsibilities:

• Teach Applied Musical Theater Voice lessons;
• Provide weekly studio class;
• Participate in recruitment for the Musical Theater Voice Studio;
• Adjudicate Musical Theater Voice Juries; and
• Participate in Musical Theater initiatives.  

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Music or equivalent professional experience;
• Successful experience teaching at the college level; and
• An established reputation as a professional artist with a documented portfolio of live performances.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Successful experience teaching vocal techniques for musical theater styles;
• Piano skills sufficient for accompanying voice students in lessons; 
• Experience teaching students to build technical proficiency and repertoire across the genre; and
• Demonstrated ability working with a diverse population of artists, students, faculty, staff, and community members.
