Academic Physician - Interventional Cardiology #MED419

The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Cardiology, is searching for a full-time Assistant Professor who specializes in Interventional Cardiology. The appointee will share responsibilities across a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, in addition to staffing the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, General Cardiology Inpatient Service, and providing outpatient and clinical care on our main campus, and possible off-sites including Orland Park, River East, Ingalls, and others. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity.

Compensation is dependent upon qualifications. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois and 3) be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology, and (4) have completed an ACGME-accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship
