Provide academic support to students through guidance in college readiness, study skills, and general success strategies.

Essential Functions

  • Meet with students individually for one-time or weekly appointments.
  • Maintain records of appointments in electronic system.
  • Provide relevant success strategies to each student's unique academic situation.
  • Refer students to other Learning Commons resources.
  • Refer students to appropriate BGSU and external resources, as needed.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Knowledge of successful study strategies
  • Demonstrate a professional demeanor while working with clients
