23-26 CY Athletic Training Adjunct Pool

East Stroudsburg University’s Department of Athletic Training is looking for Instructor(s)/Adjunct(s)) to teach introductory Athletic Training courses and labs.  Located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, ESU’s proximity to New York City and Philadelphia provides convenient access to internships, careers and social activities. Just minutes from campus are the country’s largest water parks, scenic Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area, Appalachian Trail, and other opportunities for recreational fun. 

The Department of Athletic Training at East Stroudsburg University is establishing a three-year, temporary faculty teaching pool. Candidates must be able to teach the lecture and laboratory portions for introductory Athletic Training courses and potentially other upper-level courses.  Applications on-hand will be used to fill vacancies as needed.  Distance learning and/or off-campus teaching opportunities may be possible.
ESU's Athletic Training Department offers undergraduate and graduate programs that lead to a master’s or Bachelor of Science.  The program offers a comprehensive foundation of courses.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Athletic Training or a closely related field.  Experience teaching courses with competencies in athletic training is strongly encouraged.
  

Preferred Qualifications:              

• Experience in CAATE-accredited programs.
