We invite applications for two postdoc positions in optics in our institute.
Deadline for receipt of applications: May 1, 2026.
The candidate will work in the newly created Laboratory of Material Science, Laser, and Nanotechnology under the supervision of Prof. Rashid Ganeev . The members of our laboratory work on the applications of lasers for material science, nonlinear optics, and nanotechnologies. The studies will include the laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy, high-order harmonic generation in laser-induced plasmas, gases, and solids, low-order nonlinear optical characterization of quantum dots, thin films, and other materials.
Academic Qualifications and Skills Required:
- PhD in Physics with a strong grasp on Optics and Lasers.
- Demonstrated record of research activity.
- Strong experimental skill with a background in some of the following subjects: Lasers,
- Nonlinear Optics, Nanostructuring, Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy, High-order
- Harmonic Generation.
- Programming skill.
