Salary

Amount: 2.058,56 € gross, monthly

Duties and responsibilities:

The hired individual will be responsible for collecting water and solid samples for the project's research. Subsequently, in the laboratory, he/she will contribute to the chemical and mineralogical characterization of the samples. This includes conventional techniques such as digestion to determine the total concentration of elements and sequential extractions to study their mobility in different environmental compartments using ICP-AES, ICP-MS, and HPLC, as well as mineralogical characterization using XRD, SEM-EDS, and EPMA. Furthermore, he/she will be responsible for interpreting the geochemical and mineralogical data obtained and preparing scientific articles for publication based on this data.

Selection process

1. PhD in Geological Sciences (4 points).
2. International mobility (maximum 1 point).
3. Proficiency in programming languages, statistical analysis, and geological software for mineral chemistry calculations (maximum 2 points).
4. Solid experience in publishing scientific articles (maximum 2 points).
5. Personal interview if deemed necessary (maximum 1 point).


Additional comments
