Research line / Scientific-technical services: Chemistry of low-dimensional materials 

Grant/funding period: START: 01/03/2024 END: 31/08/2027 

Centre of Principal Researcher: CICA (Interdisciplinary Center for Chemistry and Biology) 

PURPOSE OF CONTRACT: Low-dimensional material synthesis Collaborator on activities related to the project/agreement stated. 

JOB LOCATION AND SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, from 09:30h to 14:30h and from 15:30h to 17:30h, at the CICA

a) The tasks to be carried out by the beneficiary of this contract will be research in the field of materials chemistry. Specifically, the tasks included in this project will be the following: 

- Chemical modification of graphene derivatives. 

- Physicochemical Characterization of Graphene Derivatives. 

b) Duration of the contract: The contract is indefinite, but its duration is estimated in two months to complete some tasks. The distribution of tasks is as follows: 

• Stage 1 (1 months): Chemical modification of graphene derivatives. 

• Stage 2 (1 months): Characterization of chemically modified graphene derivatives.

d) Selection and Evaluation Criteria 

- Demonstrated experience in research related to the synthesis of nanomaterials. 5 points/month, maximum 30 points. 

- Experience in the chemical modification of graphene derivatives, 5 points/month, maximum 25 points. 

- Demonstrated experience in the use of microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, MRI, spectrometry, 5 points/month, maximum 20 points. 

- Personal interview. Maximum of 25 points. The interview will only be conducted with the two people with the highest score, who exceed a minimum of 50 points in the above criteria. 

The interview will be in person or via telematics that will be agreed with the candidate. 

Candidates will be invited for the interview at least 48 hours in advance. Minimum qualification to be a beneficiary of the contract, 60 points. 

The position may become vacant if there is no candidate with a score higher than 60 points. 

A waiting list will be created with those applicants who have reached the minimum score set in the call.
