Open Call on competitive basis at the FUNDACIÓN PARA LA INVESTIGACION BIOMÉDICA DEL HOSPITAL CLÍNICO SAN CARLOS-IdISSC for a position as  researcher personnel, Investigador Adjunto (Área 1 – Grupo I) for the following Project: “Smart Technology for Remote Intervention in Diabetic foot ulcer prevention in Community settings -STRIDE-COM” funded by Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII) Proyectos de colaboración internacional de la convocatoria 2025 de la Acción Estratégica en Salud-Líneas Estratégicas de Investigación en Salud 2025 Call at the Interdisciplinary Diabetic Foot Study Group of the Complutense University of Madrid od IDISSC. The position will be located at Complutense University.

Part-time contract (25 hours per working week). The starting date will be immediately after resolution 15.02.2026 aproximately and the duration of the contract will be 34.5 months approximately or when funds allocated to this project are completely expended or the end of the project. Gross salary per month 1811,60€ approximately (in 12 payments) in accordance with Spanish and internal Law.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSABILITIES

The contracted researcher will carry out fieldwork activities within the project focused on monitoring patients in remission from diabetic foot disease. Main duties include patient follow-up visits, clinical data collection, completion and maintenance of research databases, and analysis of collected datasets. The candidate will support protocol implementation, contribute to outcome evaluation, and assist in the preparation of scientific reports. Attendance and active participation in research group meetings and consortium meetings will also be required, ensuring coordination across multidisciplinary teams and high-quality project execution.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Candidates will be evaluated by a designated Evaluation Committee (only if they meet the Education and Training Requirements). This Committee will act in accordance to the following criteria:

 

  • Merit expertise:
  • Publications in JCR-indexed journals (0–3 points)
  • Experience in the management of patients with diabetic foot disease (0–4 points)
  • Participation as a member of the research team in clinical trials or studies related to diabetic foot (0–1 point)
  • Training in statistics, proficiency in SPSS software, and database management (0–1 point)
  • Mobility (1 point)

    B) Job Interview (only if you overcome 5 points at A) Merit Expertise. Previous labour mobility and personal experience, including the experience obtained in non-standard or informal ways, will be assessed. In order to the candidate might be proposer, the overall sum of the marks for all award criteria should exceed 50 %. (0 to 5 points)
