Offer Description

The National Institute for Research and Development of Isotopic and Molecular Technologies Cluj-Napoca (INCDTIM) announces a recruitment competition for one full-time Research Scientist (Postdoctoral) position in Chemistry, for a fixed-term period from 01.07.2026 to 28.02.2027, within the research project entitled:

“Synthesis of dendrimers containing sulfonium ions for antibacterial applications”, project code PN-IV-P1-PCE-2023-0441.

Job Description (temporary position) - The selected candidate will be involved in research activities within the above-mentioned project, including:synthesis of precursors, intermediates, and polymers specified in the project.

Specific Requirements for the Research Scientist (Postdoctoral) position

  • PhD degree in Chemistry;
  • Experience in synthesis and characterization of organic compounds and complexes;
  • Previous experience in applied research or similar scientific projects is an advantage;
  • Scientific writing skills and ability to prepare research reports;
  • Advanced English language proficiency (required for writing reports and scientific papers).

Selection Procedure

The competition will be conducted in accordance with the regulations regarding recruitment for research, development, and innovation personnel within INCDTIM.
