Develop your career at Universidade Lusófona:
HEI-Lab – Digital Human-Environment Interaction Labs is looking to hire a professional for the Science Management area.

Main responsibilities:   

Support for HEI-Lab activities

Organization of dissemination, information and knowledge transfer events within the scope of HEI-Lab activities

Drawing up a strategic plan for training and attracting funding for HEI-Lab

Managing the process of providing regular information on available funding opportunities

Support in preparing and submitting applications for national and international research funding programs

Coordination and management of R&D projects, including technical support for contracting, budget management, communication with funding agencies and implementation of national and internationally funded projects

Support in human resources recruitment and selection processes

Managing and processing data, writing reports and drafting opinions to support decision-making

Coordination of protection and industrial property processes.

Benefits

Regime
Fixed-term employment contract for 12 months, renewable.

Salary
Monthly gross salary between €2,000.00 and €2,400.00, depending on qualifications, plus meal allowance.

Selection process

1st phase

Curriculum Evaluation, based on:

Final classification of academic degrees;

Proven knowledge of national legislation on higher education and science;

Proven knowledge of national and international research funding models;

Experience in submitting and managing R&D projects;

Experience in recruitment processes for R&D personnel;

Experience supporting the preparation and submission of applications to research funding programs.

2nd phase

Interview, conducted only with the top-ranked candidates after curriculum evaluation. The interview may be held fully or partially in English to assess language proficiency. The jury may request additional exercises to evaluate relevant competencies.

Interview criteria:

Interpersonal skills;

Compatibility of the candidate’s career development plan with the needs of HEI-Lab and vice versa.

Development of a brief strategic plan for funding acquisition aligned with HEI-Lab’s profile.
