Skills/Qualifications
- Very good knowledge of the Polish language (fluent reading and writing, filling out official documents);
- Ability to conduct scientific work: literature review, method development, interpretation of MS spectra, writing publications, and grants;
- Continuous scientific development by keeping abreast of current chemical and pharmaceutical literature and active participation in training courses, seminars, and conferences;
- Experience in metallic NPs biosynthesis;
- Experience in supercritical fluid extraction SFE;
- Experience in statistical analysis of results;
- Experience in performing analytical determinations and validations using liquid chromatography methods with mass spectrometry (MS) detection;
- Experience in developing methods using instrumental analytical techniques (HPLC, LC-MS/MS, LC-QTOF, ICP-MS, AAS);
- Ability to prepare analytical documentation and maintain current records, and prepare reports on work performed in accordance with applicable requirements;
- Knowledge of the principles of performing work in accordance with the principles of Quality Management and the standard ISO-17025:2018.
- Creativity, openness to new challenges, and team communication skills;
- Precision and regularity in work;
- Timeliness and reliability of work performed and reporting;
- Work discipline and effective use of working time;
- Ability to organize work properly;
Specific Requirements
- PhD in chemical engineering or chemical sciences;
- Minimum one year of experience working in drug quality control;
- Minimum three years' experience working in a chemical laboratory;
- To be a co-author of at least ten publications or book chapters in English;
- Experience as a performer in projects (e.g., NCN, NAWA);
- Experience in obtaining project funding (e.g., NCN).

Selection process
Applications, in a sealed envelope, marked "Application for the position of postdoctoral at the National Institute of Medicines – PM," should be submitted between March 24, 2026, and April 4, 2026, by 10:00 AM, to the National Institute of Medicines (NIL), ul. Chełmska 30/34, 00-725 Warsaw, 3rd floor, room 337 or 346 (international candidates may apply electronically to: k.henrych@nil.gov.pl ).
Candidates will be notified via email of their qualification for the second stage, the interview, and the date of the recruitment meeting, no later than two weeks after the application deadline.
The competition may be canceled without providing a reason. Based on the evaluation of submitted documents and an interview, a candidate will be selected. Following the competition, the candidate's candidacy will be reviewed by the Scientific Council. The Director of the National Institute of Law and Administration (NIL) will decide on employment, working conditions, and remuneration.

3. PURPOSE OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
We process all personal data you provide to us for the purpose of conducting the recruitment process for the position(s) you have selected, and if you have also consented to participate in future recruitment processes – for your participation in any future recruitment processes for the position(s) you have selected or a similar position. We process the following personal data: first name(s) and last name, date of birth, mailing address, email address, telephone number, education, and data regarding your previous employment history based on a legal obligation incumbent on the personal data controller (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter c of the GDPR in conjunction with Article 221 of the Labor Code).

4. PERSONAL DATA STORAGE PERIOD
Your personal data will be processed for a period of 6 months from the date you submitted your application and provided your consent.
In addition, if you have also consented to participate in future recruitment processes, your data will be processed by us for a period of 12 months from the date you submitted your application and provided your consent. However, in the case of your personal data processed solely based on your consent – for the duration of the recruitment process you have chosen, or for a shorter period if you withdraw your consent to their processing before its completion.
5. CANDIDATE RIGHTS REGARDING PERSONAL DATA
The processing of your personal data, which you provided to us in your application documents, is based on your consent and is voluntary.
