The Gurmani Center for Language and Literature (GCLL) and the Mushtaq Ahmad Gurmani School of Humanities and Social Sciences (MGSHSS) at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) announces Postdoctoral Fellowship for the academic year 2026-2027. The position would be for a ten-month duration from August 2026 to May 2027.

The successful postdoctoral fellowship candidate will teach one course during each semester and will fully participate in the ongoing activities of the Gurmani Center and MGSHSS. The postdoctoral fellow would be required to be physically on campus during the two semesters. 

Postdoctoral candidates should have their PhDs in hand by August 31, 2026.  We prefer candidates who have completed their PhDs in the last three to five years and whose scholarship has an interdisciplinary focus, bringing together debates in the Humanities and the Social Sciences.
