The project consortium brings together a number of pioneering experts in the field and aims to develop and reflect on (AI) solutions to how to deal with new challenges in cybersecurity of the Dutch armed forces.

The postdoctoral candidate will work on a project developing and evaluating forecasting models for the analysis of defense relevant scenarios. The project will be led by prof. Dr. Roy Lindelauf (NLDA, TiU), and prof. Dr. Marie Postma (Intelligent Systems Department at Tilburg University). The project aims to integrate concepts, methodologies, and information derived from Bayesian modeling, data science, cognitive science, and risk analysis. Its primary objective is to create advanced forecasting models, generate meaningful indicators using open-source data, assess the reliability, transparency, and applicability of these models, and validate them through applicable use-cases.
