We play an instrumental role in Europe by fueling innovation through research partnerships with industry, boosting R&D investments leading to economic growth, and attracting highly qualified talent. We look for researchers from diverse academic backgrounds to contribute to our projects in areas such as: Network Security, Information Assurance, Model-driven Security, Cloud Computing, Cryptography, Satellite Systems, Vehicular Networks, and ICT Services & Applications.

We seek candidates keen to work in an interdisciplinary environment and open to collaborating with researchers from other disciplines, particularly robotics, soft matter physics, image processing, and information extraction. The position is linked to the Interdisciplinary Research Group in Sociotechnical Cybersecurity (IRiSC-https://irisc-lab.uni.lu/ ) within the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability, and Trust (SnT) at the University of Luxembourg.

The position is initially funded for one year (with a probation period of six months) and may be extended to up to five years following positive evaluation and commitment.

The research is linked to the project INVISIMARK - Unclonable Invisible Optical Markers For Defence Applications (https://www.researchgate.net/publication/374806334_InvisiMark ) will be executed in close collaboration with two other research groups, one in robotics (prof. Holger Voos) and the other in soft matter physics (Prof. Jan Lagerwall). The three groups have established an exciting interdisciplinary environment.
