Offer Description
Melatonin has attracted interest for its properties. It can regulate stem cell behavior by modulating redox balance, mitochondrial activity, inflammatory mediators & differentiation pathways.Recent studies highlight its incorporation into biomaterial scaffolds to improve biological performance.Scaffolds act as carriers for cells and bioactive factors, guiding tissue regeneration.Human platelet lysate rich in growth factors & cytokines, enhances proliferation, survival & reparative capacity of human mesenchymal stromal cells. This project investigates how melatonin modulates hMSC behavior within a scaffold enriched with hPL to promote a time-controlled therapeutic response during tissue healing. It will evaluate the effects of melatonin on hMSC viability & oxidative stress in a 3D microenvironment & whether melatonin modulates hPL bioactivity by influencing growth factor signaling through in vitro morphological, immunohistochemical & biochemical analyses
