Offer Description

The research activity focuses on the development and experimental validation of advanced Artificial Intelligence algorithms for the fashion industry, including predictive models for sales and trend forecasting, multimodal generative models for visual and textual content analysis, and decision-support systems for supply chain and marketing optimization. The project will integrate machine learning, deep learning, foundation models, and interpretable AI approaches, ensuring scalability, robustness, and industrial transferability. Data pipelines for structured and unstructured data (images, text, social media, retail data) will be designed and validated on real-world case studies.

Specific Requirements

•  PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management or Information Engineering with a focus on AI, ML, or Data Science.
• Research experience in machine learning, deep learning, foundation models, or multimodal systems.
• Scientific publications in indexed international journals or conferences.
• Experience in predictive modeling for forecasting or recommendation systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python and AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), including GPU/cloud environments.
• Experience in industry-driven research or technology transfer projects.
