Postdoctoral Position in Random Matrix Theory and Related Fields
The Faculty of Sciences at H.I.T. – Holon Institute of Technology (Israel) invites applications for a postdoctoral position in Random Matrix Theory and related fields, funded by the Israel Science Foundation. Applicants should hold a PhD in Theoretical or Mathematical Physics, or a closely related area of Applied Mathematics.
  • The successful candidate will be involved in a number of random-matrix-theory projects led by Professor Eugene Kanzieper [link-1 , link-2 , link-3 ]. 
     
  • Qualified candidates with a previous research record in random matrix theory and strong analytical skills are encouraged to submit a covering letter (letter of motivation), curriculum vitae, list of publications, and contact information of three referees to eugene.kanzieper@hit.ac.il (please use the pdf format). 
     
  • The initial appointment will be for one year with a possibility of an extension for up to two additional years depending on performance and available funds. The starting date (September/October 2026) is negotiable. 
 The review of the applications will begin in May 2026 and will continue until the position is filled.
