Position Description
Ariel University, Israel, invites applications for a two year postdoctoral research position.

The starting date is in 2026 and is negotiable.

We are looking for a mathematician who has an experience in algebraic topology, and, in particular, in K - theory. We are interested in the application of algebraic topology and adjacent fields of mathematics to theoretical physics.

The successful candidate will join the interdisciplinary team working under the supervision of Prof. Mikhail Zubkov https://www.ariel.ac.il/wp/mikhail-zubkov https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=en&user=NMhCf3oAAAAJ&view_op=list_works&sortby=pubdate

The applicants will have the opportunity to interact with the theorists of the physics Department of Ariel University and with the mathematicians of the Department of mathematics of Ariel University.

Candidates with a PhD in pure Mathematics or in theoretical Physics, and with the expertise in the above mentioned fields are encouraged to send their applications including
