Duties
  • Deliver teaching and teaching-related activities at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, specifically in one or more of the following courses/domains:
    • Criminology, crime science, and policing
    • Sociology, social problems, and research methods
    • Statistics and quantitative analysis
  • Supervise capstone projects and participate actively in research; and
  • Contribute to the broader intellectual project of the Department through publications, seminars, workshops, and research proposals.

    • Requirements
  • A Master’s degree in Social Sciences with a major in Psychology/Social Work/Sociology/Criminology or related disciplines. A Doctoral/PhD degree will be an asset for consideration;
  • Proven ability to teach in English for the courses/domains mentioned in the “Duties” section;
  • Experience in providing academic advising or mentoring for students in the tertiary education sector; and
  • A track record of successfully teaching large classes will be a plus.

    Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
