Research Associate / Research Assistant (Full-time/Part-time) (two posts)

Duties 

The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Speech anonymization and deepfake detection platform for voice security and privacy protection”.  

Qualifications

For the post of Research Associate, applicants should have a master’s degree or a good honours degree in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related discipline with three or more years of research/relevant work experience.

For the post of Research Assistant, applicants should have an honours degree in the aforesaid disciplines or an equivalent qualification.

For all posts, applicants should also have:

(a)    strong interest in deepfake detection, voice security, speech privacy and spoken language processing; and 

(b)    experience in Python or other scripting languages for system integration.

Conditions of Service

For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  

For part-time appointment, the remuneration rates are $178 per hour for the post of Research Associate and $125 per hour for the post of Research Assistant.
