Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a)    facilitate student learning and development, and develop corresponding curriculum and pedagogy; 

(b)    lead and coordinate student learning modules and subjects, and promote teaching quality among colleagues;

(c)    lead and organise research support and knowledge transfer activities;

(d)    organise and implement strategic actions, regulations and procedures for the assigned Team;

(e)    lead and organise essential operations of the assigned Team;

(f)    assist in resources deployment and performance evaluation of the assigned Team; 

(g)    work closely with stakeholders in the University, industrial partners and clients; and 

(h)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Centre or his/her delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should have: 

(a)    a recognised degree or a higher degree in Data Science, Engineering or a related discipline;

(b)    at least five years of work experience in a field related to digital transformation, including solid supervisory experience; 

(c)    practical experience in developing and deploying business solutions using AI or digital twin technologies such as NVIDIA Omniverse or a similar platform; and

(d)    a good command of written and spoken English.

Preference will be given to those with teaching or curriculum development experience in higher education, or with research and development experience in AI or digital twin areas.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
