Offer Description

The research position will take place inside LGP2 (Process Engineering Laboratory for Biorefinery, Bio-based Materials and Functional Printing) in Grenoble (Gières Campus) within the MatBio team (Multi-scale biobased materials). The LGP2 is a mixed research unit (UMR 5518) associating the CNRS and Grenoble INP, certified Quality Safety Environment. LGP2's research work focuses on operations for the converting and valorization of plant biomass such as the biorefinery and the development of biosourced materials (paper, cardboard, composites, films, non-wovens) as well as on printing processes for the functionalization of surfaces for smart or communicative materials.

Description of the offer:

Your main mission will consist in managing a research project within the framework of European funding. – FEDER (Franco Suisse) with 10 partners (industrials & academic). The Interreg project called WIBATTS aims at producing passive Tag RFID for the non visual monitoring of the cold chain system in supply chain for pharmaceutical or food industry. Your role will consist in developing substrate adapted for the application and sensitive to the modification of cold chain. As such, you will manage the project, whether at the level of the experimental part with work on a laboratory and pilot scale, or at the level of project management (meetings with multiple external or internal partners and editorial staff. report writing or the production of intermediate presentations). The project concerns more particularly the development of substrate based on cellulosic materials allowing the sensitivity to temperature changes. The main scientific challenges are: adapted formulation of cellulose materials, development of multilayer by adapting the process, the understanding of the relation structure-properties on thickness modification depending on humidity or temperature stress. Exchanges with European project partners could make it possible to test new strategies.
