Offer Description

This project is part of our research program dedicated to synthetic developments in the field of organofluorine chemistry using modern tools (photocatalysis, electrosynthesis, CH bond activation). A strong emphasis will be paid on the direct functionalization of fluorinated scaffolds and valorization of fluorinated industrial waste toward the synthesis of value-added and more environmentally friendly compounds. The postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for experimental work, analysis (NMR, HPLC), and writing scientific reports, and will benefit from an international research environment.

Development of original methodologies in order to tackle key synthetic challenges:
experimental work
analysis (NMR, HPLC…)
writing of scientific reports and publications

The post-doctoral fellow will work in the “Synthesis of Fluorinated Biomolecules” group (UMR 6064 CARMeN Institute-CNRS), headed by Professor Jubault. The group, which includes 6 permanent staffs and ca. 20 Ph.D. students and postdoctoral fellows, is located at IRCOF Rouen (CNRS, University and INSA Rouen), France.
The post doctoral fellow will work under the supervision of Dr. Tatiana Besset (CNRS Research director, Contact: tatiana.besset@insa-rouen.fr ), Dr. Tatiana Besset (tatiana.besset@insa-rouen.fr ), Prof. Philippe Jubault (philippe.jubault@insa-rouen.fr ) and Prof. Thomas Poisson (thomas.poisson@insa-rouen.fr ).
