Offer Description

Le projet de thèse est en géométrie algébrique complexe. Il consiste à étudier les déformations des variétés sphériques, ainsi que les dégénérescences de variétés algébriques vers des variétés sphériques. L'étude de nouveaux exemples, l'étude des petites dimension, et le développement d'un point de vue équivariant sur les dégénérescences toriques formeront les objectifs principaux.

The thesis project is in complex algebraic geometry. It consists of studying deformations of spherical varieties, as well as degenerations of algebraic varieties to spherical varieties. The main objectives will be to study new examples, study small dimensions, and develop an equivariant perspective on toric degenerations.

Master de Mathématiques fondamentales, incluant des cours de géométrie différentielle, géométrie algébrique, topologie algébrique. Rédaction de mémoire scientifique et présentation orale. Intérêt pour les divers aspects de la géométrie complexe : géométrie algébrique, géométrie différentielle, voire un peu d'analyse géométrique.Master's degree in Fundamental Mathematics, including courses in differential geometry, algebraic geometry, and algebraic topology. Writing of a scientific thesis and oral presentation. Interest in the various aspects of complex geometry: algebraic geometry, differential geometry, and even a little geometric analysis.
