Position Description
The Department of Applied Mathematics at Ecole polytechnique is recruiting a full-time Assistant Professor in Applied Mathematics - analysis and optimization - starting September 1, 2026. This is a tenured position. The candidate must have defended a doctoral thesis in mathematics or computer science at the date of submission of the application. The candidate should present a detailed scientific project demonstrating how his or her research activity will reinforce existing research in the department.
