Job Description:

The Department of Psychology welcomes applications for a full-time four-year position with the possibility of renewal in the field of Cognitive Psychology, to begin in Fall 2026. The candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses related to cognitive psychology, general psychology, and statistics/methodology, as well as selected topics courses within the
candidate's area of expertise. The candidate is expected to have an active research agenda and to pursue internal and external grant funding. The candidate is expected to play an active role in departmental, school, and university service activities.

Requirements:

Candidates should hold a PhD or equivalent in cognitive psychology, cognitive science, or related field. Successful candidates should have an ongoing program of research and publication, have strong leadership capability or potential, and skills or potential in high quality teaching. Candidates with intradisciplinary or interdisciplinary programs of research are
preferred.   Note also that candidates with experience in and familiarity with the North American higher education system are preferred.
