In accordance with the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education, the Statute of the University, and general acts of the University related to election to scientific-teaching, teaching, and associate positions

Completed postgraduate university study in the field of natural sciences, scientific field of geophysics

Other conditions defined by the relevant HRZZ competition, relating to possession of ORCID identity (https://orcid.org/ ) and conditions related to the period from obtaining the doctorate

Application Details

The senior assistant positions are announced and filled in accordance with applicable regulations of the Republic of Croatia and internal acts of the University, with the main outcome of the competition linked to the project evaluation process conducted by HRZZ. Only candidates positively evaluated in the senior assistant competition and favorably ranked on the PDIP HRZZ score lists (results expected on May 20, 2026) can be employed and have their projects funded.

Applicants must meet conditions from the Labor Act (NN 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22, 64/23) and the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (NN 119/22) and related regulations. Along with the signed application, applicants must submit:

Proof of citizenship

Proof of acquired academic degree/level

Proof of English language knowledge

Proof of computer skills

Other relevant certificates

 

Selected candidates must provide original documentation. Non-Croatian citizens need proof of Croatian language proficiency (C2-advanced), and those with foreign qualifications need recognition decision.
