TENDER FOR JOB VACANCIES

for employment 

two associate in the associate title - Postdoctoral Researcher, in the scientific area of Natural science, scientific field of Biology, in the Laboratory of Ichthyology and Coastal Fisheries, as part of participation in the Croatian Science Foundation’s Postdoctoral Research Project programme (PDIP-2026), two (2) persons, F/M, for a period of  two (2) years, full-time.  

Candidates for employment should meet the criteria for selection to the postdoc position - Postdoctoral Researcher prescribed of the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity and conditions of the Rulebook on the conditions for selection to scientific, associate and professional positions of the Institute for oceanography and fisheries, which can be found on the Institute's website (https://galijula.izor.hr/dokumenti/ ).

This call is issued within the Croatian Science Foundation’s Postdoctoral Research Projects programme (PDIP-2026 – more information is available at the following link: https://hrzz.hr/prijava/otvoreni-natjecaji/ ) as the first part of a two-stage process.

The second part of the process is conducted by the Croatian Science Foundation (HRZZ). Candidates for PDIP project leaders apply to HRZZ independently of their application to this call by submitting the documentation required under the PDIP-2026 Call.

The selected candidate (project leader) will be employed depending on the results of the PDIP-2026 Call, and the main outcome is linked to the project evaluation process conducted by HRZZ.

Only a candidate who is positively evaluated and selected under this call, and who is favourably ranked on the PDIP-2026 Call scoring lists, may be employed and have their project funded.

Candidates must submit the following documents with their application:

• Curricuclum Vitae,
• Copy of diploma for the completed relevant postgraduate university (doctoral) study (or a decision on the recognition of a foreign educational qualification for candidates who obtained their qualification abroad),
• List of papers and description of scientific and professional activity,

• Proof of citizenship.

   

Persons from Article 102, Paragraphs 1 to 3 of the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and their Family Members are invited to submit evidence from Article 103, Paragraph 1 of the same law to exercise the right to employment preference (v.: https://tinyurl.com/585v72re ).
