Offer Description
A highly-motivated chemist to work in the field of synthetic organic chemistry. The job description includes synthesis of various organic molecules, including aromatic compounds, ligands, peptides, peptidomimetics, and all other organic compounds depending on the needs of the economic sector and/or economically oriented projects. The position does not include project management or supervision of other employees.

Eligibility criteria
Prerequisites for Appointment to Proffesional title and Employment Position:
„PHD degree level or equivalent study of chemistry to have at least 6 years of working experience of professional experience in the field of natural sciences, chemistry, in the development of new synthetic methods; and/or experimental studies of biological macromolecules and their complexes; and/or research in the field of medicinal chemistry. and should be fluent in English. Experience in academic research setting is essential.“
The candidate has to fulfil the conditions of article 52. paragraph 2. of the Statute of the Rudjer Boskovic Institute.
The following should be attached to the application form: resume, evidence of the required academic degree and evidence on the fulfilment of other requirements.
Appointment to a professional position is for a fixed period of time until the temporarily absent employee returns to work.
Additional comments
The employment includes a six-month trial period.
The workplace with special working conditions requires medical examination prior to Work contract, which should ensure that candidate health is acceptable for work in common conditions in that line of work. If medical indications do not comply those conditions, Work contract will not be signed.
