Position Description
The School of Mathematics, Harbin Institute of Technology (China), are hiring talented researchers in Artificial Intelligence and Statistics,Social Sciences . The compensation for scholars will be determined on a case-by-case basis according to their academic achievements. For exceptionally outstanding individuals who meet the criteria of a distinguished chair professorship, the pre-tax annual salary could exceed 1.5 million RMB. 
For reference, we provide below the typical compensation for each position: Assistant Professor: CNY 310,000–350,000/year (pre-tax); Associate Professor: CNY 500,000/year (pre-tax); Full Professor: CNY 800,000/year (pre-tax). Performance-based incentives and research productivity bonuses for high-impact research achievements are uncapped. National Talent Program Recipients will qualify for elevated compensation packages.
Fast-tracked doctoral advisor eligibility forr Associate/Full(or part-time) Professors meeting the university's "Essential Requirements for Doctoral Supervisor Appointment".
Highly qualified researchers can apply for a part-time position as Chair Professor (typically 1.00.000 RMB/month). On-campus presence is required for two months per year.
