About the Role:
Flinders University is seeking an engaging and student-focused academic to deliver high-quality, contemporary education as Lecturer in Project Management and Computing (Teaching Specialist , Academic). The Lecturer in Project Management and Computing will play a key role in shaping curriculum, advancing teaching practice, and supporting student success across undergraduate and postgraduate programs within the Computing and Mathematical Sciences Discipline.
The Lecturer in Project Management and Computing will contribute expertise across:
- High-quality, student-centred teaching in project management and computing across multiple levels and delivery modes
- Innovative curriculum design and continuous improvement aligned with industry, accreditation and compliance requirements
- Contemporary teaching practice leveraging learning technologies and digital platforms
- Academic, professional and community engagement that enhances student experience and graduate employability
This position is open to domestic candidates with Australian Work Rights. Relocation support is available.
About You:
You are an inspiring educator and reflective practitioner with a passion for teaching excellence and student success. You bring creativity, rigour and innovation to your teaching, and thrive in collaborative environments where education makes a meaningful difference to learners and the wider community.
- A completed PhD or EdD, or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated excellence and significant experience in tertiary teaching
- Experience in curriculum design and coordinating and/or leading teaching activities and supporting academic quality assurance
- Engagement with relevant professional or community networks
