An opportunity to coordinate an innovative health services research pilot in the Grampians Region (Ballarat, with flexibility), working with health partners to deliver trials that improve care transitions and patient outcomes.

- Level A $83,268 - $111,939 + 17% Superannuation

As an Associate Research Fellow, you will:
- Coordinate and deliver an innovative health services research pilot focused on improving hospital to primary care transitions in regional Victoria.
- Work closely with clinicians, general practices and key partners including Grampians Health and the Western Victorian Primary Health Network.
- Manage day‑to‑day trial coordination, including data collection, quality assurance, meetings and protocol refinement.
- Contribute to research outputs, including reports, publications and knowledge translation activities, with mentorship from senior researchers.
- Build applied research capability within a collaborative, solution‑led team, delivering real‑world impact across the Australian health system.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- PhD in a relevant discipline (or equivalent qualifications/experience) with emerging research outputs and experience across core research activities.
- Strong research capability, including literature reviews, data collection, analysis, report writing and contributing to publications and grant activity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to analyse information and produce clear, high‑quality outputs for diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively, build strong working relationships and contribute to community and stakeholder engagement through research.
- Well-developed analytical, organisational and ethical practice skills, including confidentiality, privacy, compliance and effective planning to deliver outcomes.
