We are offering a PhD position at the Mittelbrunn Lab at the Centro de Biología Molecular Severo Ochoa(CSIC-UAM, Madrid, Spain), supported by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions UNION Network: UnderstandiNg fraIlty tOwards a future of healthy ageiNg. We seek an early-stage researcher to investigate T cells in immunosenescence and aging at the Mittelbrunn Lab . Located in Madrid, a vibrant and cosmopolitan city known for its great quality of life, rich culture, this position offers a unique opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research in an international environment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Requirements:
    • Applicants must hold a Master’s degree relevant to the chosen position (e.g., Biology, Medicine, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline) or an equivalent qualification that allows them to pursue a PhD.
    • The degree must be obtained at least one month before the employment contract starts or be officially recognized within the European Higher Education Area.
  • Mobility Rule: Applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in SPAIN for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before Sept2025.
  • Language Proficiency: A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English (certified at B2 level or equivalent) is required.
