Outline
The purpose of the Scholarship is to support Honours students in the School of Chemistry undertaking study in an area closely associated with coatings technology, for example polymers, pigments, corrosion or adhesion problems, or rheology.
Eligibility
To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must:

• Be commencing full-time Honours study with the School of Chemistry in an area closely associated with coatings technology, for example, polymers, pigments, corrosion or adhesion problems, or rheology. They can also be working on materials that can be used coatings or as surface layers, for example metal-organic frameworks, organic molecules, metal oxides and other inorganic compounds.

Selection
Applicants will be assessed on their ability to demonstrate:

• Academic Merit
• Leadership skills (school, workplace or community)
• Extra-curricular activities (sporting, cultural activities, volunteer/work experience)
• Aptitude and commitment to studies in an area of coatings technology
