Binar Biddi PhD Scholarship
Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander people keep a strong connection between animals, people and Country, which can be enhanced through research. They often consider animals to be equally as important as humans – and animals can offer physical and spiritual connections between people and the world.
Murdoch University’s veterinary science research is focused on improving the health and welfare of animals – and their interactions with, and impact on, people and Country. Our researchers are crafting solutions to improve animal welfare and productivity, and the conservation of iconic Australian wildlife and ecosystems.
Binar is a shooting star, and biddi means path. Together they mean path of the shooting star.
