The OSS will, from the time of early college outreach to graduation and beyond, support students in living a life of meaning and purpose. From a student-centered framework, our practice will be grounded in peer-reviewed literature, national best practices, and data-informed decision making. Collaborating with the campus and community, Student Success will work through a holistic lens to support a community of learners in achieving success.
Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Student Well-Being, the Executive Director will serve as the leader of the university’s central unit for individual and group counseling services focused on supporting student growth and assisting with student mental health. This role will work closely with many campus entities, including all units within the Student Well-Being area of Student Success. Specifically, the Executive Director must engage with intention and commitment with TRACS, a unit focused on triage and referral for students in crisis, and the Director of Prevention, Outreach, and Wellness Education Resources (POWER), a unit focused on health education, outreach, and prevention efforts.
