TITLE IX, COMPLIANCE, EDUCATION & TRAINING MANAGER - (T224553)

Description

 

Manage the overall education and training programs for the entire UAB enterprise. Serve as the Clery Act subject matter expert. Manage the lactation project on campus including renovation of spaces and allocation of resources.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages the Clery ACT and serves as the expert in the Title IX office to provide accurate data.
  • Represents the Title IX Office at various Clery meetings and/or serves on related committees.
  • Tracks and reports Clery Act crime statistics and conducts data assessment for reports submitted to organizational leadership.
  • Monitors all reports made, tracks data and consults with leadership regarding data trends.
  • Develops brochures and other educational materials pursuant to Title IX.
  • Manages online training systems for students, faculty, and staff.
  • Assigns training and events related to promotion of training, and works with leadership to update the training.
  • Monitors compliance with Title IX training requirements.
  • Follows up with individuals to assist in bringing them into compliance.
  • May follow up, as needed, with individuals and applicable leadership according to appropriate escalation procedures to ensure the training requirements are met in a timely fashion.
  • Manages and oversees the lactation rooms on campus, including ongoing assessment, evaluation and collaboration with various entities across the UAB enterprise.
  • Collects data from other UAB departments who provide training/prevention programming and compiles data into reports to track UABs continuing educational efforts in compliance with Title IX and the Campus SAVE AcAssists with logistics involved in training/programming conducted by the Title IX Office.
  • Develops robust training programs for all students, staff, and faculty and ensures we are strategic in our efforts to keep our community informed and engaged in our prevention efforts.

    Qualifications

     

    Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies, Social Work, Higher Education Administration or a related field and four (4) years of related experience. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
