General Notes
The Department of Computer Science at UT Austin is seeking an on-site, seasonal eligible Assistant Director to assist our team in managing and executing nine high school summer academies. You'll assist the Academy Director, supervise campers, help with coordination and administration, and ensure smooth operations. Meals are provided and housing may be available upon request. This role reports to the Academy Director.
This position is open to graduating seniors and graduate students only.
Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate summer academy activities
- Lead and train academy staff
- Maintain daily schedules
- Serve as contact for staff
- Communicate with students and parents
- Manage administrative tasks
Required Qualifications
- Positions open to graduation seniors and graduate students only

- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong multitasking and crisis management abilities
- Integrity and good judgement
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Salary Range
$21.00/hour
Work Shift
Pre-Summer Hours
May 15-31 8:00 AM - 5:00PM
Summer Academy Hours
- Sundays: 10:00AM - 5:00PM
- Monday - Friday: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
- Saturdays: Occasional Saturday work may be scheduled
