| Job Summary | The East Tennessee State University (ETSU) Center for Outpatient Rehabilitation is offering a full-time Physical Therapist position providing the full range of evaluation and intervention services in an interprofessional university clinic. This position is clinical practice with a patient population mainly consisting of outpatient conditions related to vestibular, musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary systems. The College of Health Sciences seeks a Physical Therapist for a unique full-time opportunity to practice in an interdisciplinary, community-based setting in Elizabethton, TN. The Outpatient Rehabilitation Center at the Nave Center is an interdisciplinary, interprofessional rehabilitation clinic located in Elizabethton, TN, which serves community health care needs and educates ETSU students who are pursuing a variety of careers in the rehabilitative health sciences. The facility is a dynamic, growing clinic, and the expansion of services across rehabilitation disciplines is a top priority. The Center is located within the College of Health Sciences, which includes numerous programs, including Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech and Language Pathology, Behavioral Health, Sports Medicine, and Allied Health Sciences. The College is part of the University’s Academic Health Sciences Division, which also houses the James H. Quillen College of Medicine, the Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy, the College of Public Health, and the College of Nursing. Responsible to the Executive Clinic Director at the Nave Center. This is an exciting opportunity to provide physical therapy care in an interdisciplinary outpatient environment with the opportunity for increasing leadership responsibilities. The candidate will work on-site at the Nave Center, collaborating with other providers, including physical therapists, audiologists, occupational therapists, and speech language pathologists. This position is a full-time clinical staff position and will include providing on-site supervision to students. ETSU is one of only about 100 designated Academic Health Science Centers in the nation and is one of the largest, along with The Ohio State University, with 5 academic health science colleges (medicine, pharmacy, nursing, public health, and health sciences).
