Position Description


Advertised Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to conduct research for the digital Twin project led by Dr. Enrico Santi and sponsored by ONR. Specific duties include writing and submitting research proposals, mentoring graduate and undergraduate students, writing journal and conference papers, preparing project reports, making presentations, and contributing to laboratory investigations related to power and energy systems research. The position also has teaching responsibility, approximately 3 courses divided over two academic semesters
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
A doctorate (PhD or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering with years of relevant research experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Strong leadership skills with experience in organizing and facilitating meetings for staff and other audiences. Ability to communicate effectively with different audiences. Knowledge in research development, testing, and training. Effective writing and listening skills.
