Description of Work Unit | |
Position Summary | The Project Management Associates are responsible for organizing, leading and directing teams to support cGMP campaign activities, as well as to support BioMARC’s overall facility and business operations. Individuals will be working with internal teams as well as multi-institutional clients and external collaborators. Candidates are expected to build, maintain, manage and utilize the basic infrastructure of a project work plan to manage and coordinate team tasks. Work plan infrastructure includes, but is not limited to, MS Project Schedules, MS Excel budgetary documents, MS Word reports, Visio flow charts and Power Point presentations. In addition, work related to pricing models and new project proposal development may be assigned with the expectation that the employee makes use of skills similar to those described above. Candidates must be able to understand the application of and work within an FDA compatible Quality System using Quality Assurance approved SOPs, protocols and/or similar controlled documents. Successful candidates must be able to perform as part of a team, and communicate clearly, understand multiple aspects of complex projects and recognize areas of project risk, and make professional judgements with regard to contract compliance. The different position level(s) require escalating levels of experience in the understanding and application of project management concepts and experience in a contract development and manufacturing environment. |
