The College of Nursing & the Center for Chronic Illness Self-management and Prevention (CRISP) provides a research infrastructure for Postdoctoral Research Associates to be involved with interdisciplinary team science projects for development of their program of research.
The purpose of the two-year in-person post-doctoral fellowship is to prepare nurse scientists for successful careers in research. The focus of the UNMC College of Nursing is on issues pertaining to prevention and self-management of chronic illnesses that impact individuals and families across the lifespan. This emphasis is congruent with the rapidly increasing population of persons affected by chronic illness and associated healthcare costs in the U.S. We strive to prepare nurse scientists whose research contributions will help mitigate chronic illness. Post-doctoral associates are expected to relocate to Omaha, NE. We do not have a remote option.
