Job Description Summary

This role coordinates the day-to-day operations for several research protocols. They will be responsible for the abstraction of complex medical data in order to determine study eligibility. Manage data using different tools, systems and statistical software package and submit protocol modifications and continuing reviews to the IRB as needed, perform literature review, and write reports and sections of grant proposals and manuscripts for publication.

• Possessing entry level analytic skills to assist in the analysis of large data sets, perform data cleaning, generate descriptive statistics, and summarize preliminary findings in collaboration with the PI.
• Coordinate the collection of qualitative data. Coordinate with research partners to secure data when necessary. Oversee preparation and submission of invoices for study expenditures.
• Assist the PI in writing manuscripts, sections of manuscripts and grant proposals. Conduct literature reviews and prepare reports to funding agencies. Coordinate with co-authors on the drafting, editing, submission of abstracts and manuscripts.
• Prepare and submit IRB modifications and continuing reviews. Prepare minutes and agenda for weekly meetings; other tasks assigned
• Provide oversight to temporary student assistants.
• Develop and implement quantitative evaluation tools (such as paper workshop surveys and online conference surveys) and qualitative evaluation tools (such as observation and focus group protocols). (15% Essential: 1),Collect data using the instruments listed above, create and complete databases, analyze data, and write compressive reports. (15% Essential: 1),Design and implement quantitative and qualitative research activities to ascertain the impact of professional development on OST staff, programs, and youth participants. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
