Job Summary
The Parking
Enforcement Associate will enforce the University of Southern Mississippi
traffic and parking regulations throughout all campuses. The Parking
Enforcement Associate will also act as an ambassador for the university,
providing directions, explaining parking regulations to visitors and members of
the community, and assisting individuals in complying with the traffic and
parking regulations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
A valid Driver’s License.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to operate department motor vehicles.
- Skill in conflict resolution and de-escalation.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as regulations, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to learn and use the work-related computer software programs .
