Job Summary

Reporting to the Associate Dean for Academic Programming, the University of Michigan Law School is hiring a LEO intermittent lecturer to teach a three-credit course (30% effort for the semester) on Insurance Law and Policy during the winter 2026 semester. The selected candidate will be expected to teach, hold regular office hours, evaluate students? performance, and assign grades.

Required Qualifications*

- JD degree or equivalent
- 10+ years of legal practice experience
- 10+ years of insurance industry experience

    This appointment will begin on January 1, 2026, and will end on April 30, 2026. The appointment opportunity as posted is subject to the University of Michigan Lecturers Employee Organization collective bargaining agreement.
